Eleni P. SianisAssociate
Eleni P. Sianis is an associate attorney with a wide range of experience in estate planning, real estate, and business law.
Eleni graduated from Loyola University Chicago with bachelor of arts degrees in both Political Science and Criminal Justice and a minor in Sociology. While attending law school at the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law (formerly known as The John Marshall Law School), Eleni clerked for the Cook County State’s Attorney where she argued motions and conducted trials on matters involving felony and misdemeanor drug charges. She also clerked at the Illinois Attorney General’s Office, Workers’ Compensation Bureau, where she researched legal issues on matters involving workers’ compensation.
Upon graduating law school and obtaining her law license in 2006, Eleni worked as an associate lawyer at a Chicago workers’ compensation firm for several years. While there, Eleni argued motions before arbitrators at the Illinois Workers’ Compensation Commission, presented oral arguments before Commissioners at the Illinois Workers’ Compensation Commission, settled numerous cases, and drafted briefs for the Illinois Circuit and Illinois Appellate Courts.
Eleni began to invest in real estate and became a licensed real estate broker in 2017. This interest grew into a real estate law practice wherein Eleni has worked with numerous clients in all matters of real estate.
A natural entrepreneur, Eleni started her own company importing and distributing olive oil. She understands first-hand the needs of small businesses and is eager to assist her business clients in all matters of business transactions, including creation of new corporations, LLCs, and partnerships. She also has extensive experience drafting employment agreements, non-compete agreements, leases, partnership agreements, and dissolution of partnership agreements.
In addition to providing counsel to individuals and businesses, she also assists them with their estate planning goals, the administration of probate assets and representation in administrative hearings before various municipalities.
Concurrently, Eleni holds a quasi-judicial position on the Cook County Sherriff’s Merit Board where she presides over termination cases brought by the Cook County Sheriff’s Office.
Eleni lives and works in Park Ridge where she enjoys spending time with her husband and their two sons. She also has a flair for creative writing and has published one fictional novel thus far: Hunter’s Redemption.
