Boleslaw graduated cum laude from the John Marshall Law School, where he also served as a member of the Law Review, the highest academic honor program. While serving on the Law Review, Boleslaw wrote a Comment on the status of the “distraction” exception to the doctrine of no liability of the Illinois owners and occupiers of land for “open and obvious” dangers. Besides writing his Comment, Boleslaw assisted the editorial board of the John Marshall Law Review in researching, editing and preparing numerous articles for publication. When at law school, Boleslaw also received a CALI Certificate of Excellence for his achievements in the study of Civil Procedure.

Boleslaw’s passion for law began back in his native Poland where he graduated from the University of Maria Sklodowska-Curie School of Law receiving a final grade of “excellent” on his diploma. Also, Boleslaw’s thesis on juvenile delinquency in court statistics after the fall of communism in Poland was graded “excellent.”

After moving to the United States and before becoming a licensed attorney, Boleslaw worked with Bellas & Wachowski as a paralegal. He has been integral part of the firm for several years. While a paralegal at Bellas & Wachowski, Boleslaw assisted in handling hundreds of personal injury, workers’ compensation and other types of cases from start to finish.

Boleslaw passed his Bar Exam in 2008, and subsequently joined the firm as an associate. He is responsible for pretrial and trial preparation, depositions and other discovery, motion, and pleading matters utilizing with great success his previous experience as a paralegal.
